I’m married to a man who loves to cook and I’m Mom to a toddler who eats everything under the sun is beginning to be picky about what he eats. I’m learning to love cooking. I have a long way to go before I’m accomplished, and I’m enjoying the journey!

I like Italian food best, and I love chicken in all varieties. I hate mushrooms, but my husband likes them so I may add them to my dishes sometimes, for his sake. I don’t ever cook with alcohol. I have a sweet tooth and love deserts, but I don’t make them often: my goal is to make dinner delicious enough that we don’t have any space left for the sugar!

I find recipes via online websites and food blogs, in cookbooks (I’m currently reading Alice Water’s The Art of Simple Food), and via cooking shows by Rachel Ray, Giadia, and Barefoot Contessa. I like simple food, as long as it’s delicious.
